My new album through the name 18 DAYS, "Lost in Motion" is unlike most of the 18 DAYS music I've released before. It's not an ambient or vaporwave album; it is a mix of outsider house/techno, with colorful synths and cool samples, and actually sounds quite like something I would release as TURQUOISEDEATH, but there were certain aspects that made me decide to release with a different name. It contains a song that has already released, "Mysterious Voice".

Working on this album was a lot of fun. I had a lot of inspirations for it, ranging from Moa, Naked Flames, The KLF, Four Tet to The Field, iANO or even DJ Sabrina the Teenage DJ. There is a lot of potential for brighter and more euphoric music in this genre, so I tapped into that style and the result came out quite cool.

Takes me back to my high school classroom during the days of binging Inio Asano's old manga scanlations before anything was licensed. At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this.
